image.jpeg image.jpeg This is the best shot I could get of Taylor Goldsmith's pedal board. Anyone know what is on top of his amp?

It looks like things have changed a bit, but here's a pretty recent Rig Rundown that goes through some of Taylor's stuff.

Thanks, guys. I think the one in the corner is a Boss tuner. Anyone know about that gold one with the single knob?

Looks to me like a JHS Prestige (Clean Boost), I know Taylor recently had visited the JHS guys and grabbed a few new pedals from them. There's another recent photo I had seen where he replaced the Colour Box with a Crayon pedal. So it seems like he's doing a bit of experimenting currently.

I'm also assuming that the box on top of his amp is a reverb unit, not sure who made it though.

Boss TU3 > Catalinbread 5f6 > JHS Prestige > Boss Vibrato > JHS Panther Cub > Fulltone Supa Trem > OBNE Procession Reverb

He switches things up a bit but surprised to see the homemade boost that his bass player built is gone.

    image.jpeg Thanks!
The show was awesome. They are such a tight band. I saw them for the first time two summers ago when they were the opening/backing band for Conor Oberst. They've added another guitarist and he sounded great. I'm sure that adding a fifth makes things easier for Taylor but I kind of missed watching him energetically cover so much ground by himself. He has such a presence on stage.

I think you're right. In the PG Rig Rundown video posted by Dustin_J above he was using a Tweed tube reverb unit.

Welcome to the forum, by the way!

Thank you, it's funny...I've had the account forever, but I've never posted before until now. Plus, I just had to get in on the Dawes discussion; Taylor is a fantastic player!

I actually purchased a Supa-Trem right after that Rig Rundown vid came out, and Taylor was right, with the mix at zero and the volume up it is a fantastic pre-amp.

I Really like that one song they do. Worth the price of admission "A little bit of everything".

I understand that Duane Trucks is no longer with the band. Who's the new guy?

I'm jealous you got to see them! I'm waiting for them to come around here. Though I did chuckle when he said in the rig rundown that "as with all strats, the bridge pickup is so much bitier than with teles." What?!?

You mean Duane Betts? I didn't know he wasn't with Dawes anymore. I play with Frankie Lombardi all the time. (the drummer for Dickey Betts and Great Southern) I've met Duane before but haven't ever played with him. He's a good player for sure from everything I've heard.

Who's the guy touring with them now since Duane Betts left?
