I had two Gretsch Filtertrons that I removed from my G5420T and spare Tele neck. The body is from China and needed a lot of work to get the neck to fit. Finished with orange stain and acrylic varnish. Back is (very) dark mahogany. Pickup selection is via the toggle on the top bout and the regular (5-way) switch gives normal, phase, coil-tap + phase, coil-tap (bridge pickup), and bass cut filter. Sounds like a Duo-Jet, plays like a Tele.

Looks great! And should be a lot of fun to play.

Can you sketch up the wiring diagram to post? That looks interesting.

Here is the schematic for my 5-way character switch. Should work with any humbuckers on a Telecaster.
