You can buy her hair. It also comes with the clippers, her lighter (it's blue) and empty can of Red Bull she was drinking at the time.

    I just felt like sharing.

I swear if you nailed a turd to a board someone would buy it.

Nah. My friend tried to sell his toenail once. It got up to $14 before eBay pulled the auction. I'd be willing to bet that the ol' turd-n'-board would meet the same fate.

I wish people would lay off Britney Spears. I am no fan of hers, but she's a young mother of two who clearly is having a tough time with substance abuse and mental issues. I think she needs a bit of compassion here.

Saw a picture of her on the front of a magazine as she was when she first became 'famous' and as she is now. An attractive young girl turned into a troubled 'celebrity' Pretty sad to see really. The attention goes with the territory.

Don't feel sorry for her, but I do feel sorry for her kids.

First rule in showbiz: There's no such thing as bad publicity. Guess I've been in LA too long, 'cuz nothing surprises me anymore. What's next, Howard K. Stern selling Anna Nicole Smith's implants?

    The mind boggles.

I'm with you here. Did you catch Craig Ferguson's monologue on this by any chance? I totally agree with him. We don't need to beat down the vulnerable, it's the blowhards and the bigshots that deserve our ridicule.

Craig Ferguson is a Scots actor, probably best known in the States as Drew Carey's semi-nasty boss on the Drew Carey show. I think he has a talk show that comes on after...Dave...no, Jay......well the Late Show that doesn't come on before Conan O'Brien.

I saw the ultimate Britney Spears photos about 2 months ago. Yes bald indeed.

EDIT) for what it's worth it seems to me these stunts are contrieved purely for publicity sake. She will probably release a new CD soon. Britney-Good Girl Gone Bad.

Pre-zactly! His late night show (after Dave, BTW) is great. Very astute, dry sense of humor - he has that balance of "very silly, very smart" that I associate with Python and the Beatles (children of the Goon Show).

    The "Ultimate Britney Spears Experience"?

That's like say saying some sports car is the ultimate driving experience and then seeing 200,000 miles on the odometer.

I'm not picking on Britney with this thread. I agree with Craig Ferguson. I'm pointing out how stupid our society has become to generate crap like this.
Besides, if I was truly going to pick on Britney I'd do it with a cartoon.
