This isn't brand new or anything, its just a nice example a seasoned picker who's still got the stuff.

Awesome! Always one of my top choices as a favorite guitarist. What makes him cool to me is the fact that he played the intro to Elvis's version of "Suspicious Minds", on a Gibson Super 400 - and it sounded like a different guitar other than a Gibson. Plus, he's played on all of those hits that came out of Memphis in the late 60s with "The Memphis Boys" and who could ever forget that killer intro to Dobie Gray's beautiful song, "Drift Away"?

There was that other thread about Glen Campbell, about how many signature parts he had on so many memorable tunes. Reggie's had his sure, for sure!

Mr. Reggie Young is one of the most tasteful players around. I love all of his work.

Waylon's Honky Tonk Heros and This Time were my introduction to Reggie Youngs talent. Then for years it was "Oh, he did that to..." One of my favorites.

I was previlged to meet him some years back. Tried to let him know how much his music was appreciated and probably failed. Very humble and soft spoken in his response.
