I love that idea. But if much's mailbox was full, I'd probably go with a Dr. Z.

The new and 30w requirements eliminate a BFDR, which is what I'd really want.

I'd buy a Fender Champ 600 for $199 and spend the rest on strings and Yuengling , earth be damned.

My first choice would be to get a builder (muchxs maybe) to build me something to my liking. If I had to choose from an existing make/model, I'd likely look into a Little Walter that fits that price range.

I'd probably just cheat and pay off my sweetwater bill !(hoping hornady critical defense rounds work on aliens if need be)

(Need to pay off a 2014 Gibby, Roland street EX and a 32 track recorder!) As I already have an 82 JCM 800, A 64 Guild Thunderbird AMP, and a 5E3, A Bassman and several other amps, I don't think I'd buy another TUBE amp in the foreseeable future.

I'd like to try out a Roland Blues Cube but that's no where near 3000

I'd show them this and beg for a little more money or trade some labour or to wait for a sale.

If they said no, I'd settle for a Peavey Delta Blues 1 15 and some ice cream and revisit the Budda another time.

Been following this thread for two days now and it finally dawned on me. Just what are those aliens expecting in return for that $3 grand? I'm using ALL of my body parts at the moment and exploratory surgery is out too.

I need to know this before I commit. :p

^ I think that theyd wanna see a nice tele going thru a nice amp. I'd love to hear another tele providing some otherworldly sounds too if I never had the chance to hear them as well.

Soldano Lucky 13 with matching 4X12 cabinet. Can't remember the wattage, but the aliens will be in a good mood when they leave.

Wouldn't mind buying my old '67 Fender blackface Bassman 50w head back again! Had a magical tone.
