Do you have any pedals that you bought just because they're a good time? For me it's my Warm Audio Jet Phaser. It's just plain fun.

Talkboxes are some of the most fun anybody can have with a pedal. It's a process learning to use them, but they are a joy once you get the hang of it and loads of fun to mess around with. I can't think of a more rewarding pedal purchase than the talkbox.

Electro-Harmonix Micro POG. I was using it live, briefly, when we were covering Gold On The Ceiling, but that's not why I bought it. It's fun but not useful enough to keep on my pedal board.

The Donner Alchemy. Cheap if you can still find one.

    Digitech synth wah envelope.
Part of the old digitech "x series ".
Never really found a use for it, but every time I decided to box it up and sell it, I end up playing it for an hour and decide to keep it.
The weird synth sounds through a digidelay are fun.

My DigiTech FreqOUT is pretty fun, but not I found myself not enjoying it on stage. It was a little unpredictable for me. Cool pedal though...

The Digitech Freqout is a fun pedal, particularly if you want to see if the soundguy is paying attention. I had a Carl Martin Headroom spring reverb pedal for a while. It sounded incredible, but it took up too much space on my pedal board.

These days I think all of my pedals are just for fun! I will say that it is almost impossible not to screw around for a couple of hours every time I plug into this:

Too bulky and impractical for live use but fun as hell to mess around with at home.
