who comes up w/ those shapes, anyway?
people who interviewed @ BC Rich and were not hired?
I'd just cut all that off & have a $18 travel guitar.
OK, I bit, too - the green Strat-0-clone with the amp and gig bag. ETA mid-March to early April. It LOOKS a lot like another cheapy I bought last year to pull parts from. IF it's as good as that $50 axe, I'll be happy. Heck, if it just SHOWS UP I'll be thrilled. For the price, it would make a swell Christmas gift for the aspiring musician in your family. And, plenty of time to fix the setup...
BTW, I just went back to the auction, and they now say "0 available, 190 sold" - so I won't feel like the Lone Ranger if I get stuck!
190 sold, wow. Could take a while to get them all shipped out...
If it's a scam you and 189 other people including me will be mourning the loss of $17.99
And it's "Stylish" as well
Or all 190 will sink to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
Wait, that cant happen. That's why they ship in foam containers. Can you imagine 190 + Glarry strats, basses, & whatever that other'n is called washing ashore on some shores? Rock 'n roll.
Actually, if you sand down those barbs you might have an interesting shape.
My Glarry bass shipped yesterday with an amp wire and everything!
I'll totally forget about it before it comes and then I better have just as much saved up for decent strings
I well that looks like a great means of dissuading bur-gurg-gah-lers.
Here's the classic economic model
1.Sell guitars for 17.99
PayPal and EBay will handle that situation if it occurs. They are almost always on the buyers' side.
What did I do?
just ordered a bass and amp for $17.99
They sure are crafty. They even subtracted items from their store, as if they're actually selling and shipping product.
EDIT: Just got a notification that my order is being shipped
Thu, Mar 12 - Mon, Apr 06
I got my shipping confirmation too.
Spoke with a friend of mine that deals with a LOT of bike products/manufacturing from China. This virus is having huge implications for them. Races all over the world are being cancelled with teams being quarantined in hotels or once home.
I stumbled onto this thread early this morning while I was still in bed. I click the link and that was a mistake. Before I got up I used this cellular fone to order one of these nameless roadkill guitars in blue. $25 Canadian. According to specs they're mostly full size 38 inches high, narrow at 13 inches wide and barely more than 1 inch thick. No Fender bridge replacement parts for this one! The specs say 7 pounds. Basswood top bottom & sides. I'm guessing its built like a Home Depot bifold closet door. Hollow with just enuf scrap lumber here & there to facilitate gluing the basswood veneer to. It is supposed to arrive at my house in Saskatchewan by April 5th. I dont care how long it takes, I have others. I expect my 10 year old grandson would love this roadkill freak. But if it turns out that it actually works, I'll shim the neck, level the frets dull the fret ends and put it on a stand beside my Squier telecaster. Display. Then nobody will dispute that I'm a dood grampaw when I treat them to "in the mood" or some such while I twist my face grotesquely and toss my bald head back'n'forth.
Mine is set to be delivered mid March to early April. I'm so sure it's going to turn me into a rock star!
I'm gonna play bass in the Glarry Litter Band!
I bought one Exquisite Burning Fire Style Electric Bass Guitar Golden for 19.99.
Heck, a set of bass strings costs 15 bucks.
I'm thinking of trying my hand at relic-ing.
