I love John Cash.

I. Absolutely love everything about him.

Martin came out with a cheap JK signature. Model with his name on the fretboard. $600 with a case.

I just had to. I have Ave a D28....this will become a cool thing in the corner that I’ll play on occasion. Don’t care. I love Johnny Cash. It’s on its way.

It might be a better player than you expect too. I played a Martin DX at Guitar Center one time and thought it sounded and felt pretty good. I have never laid my hands on a D-28 though, so your ears may be a bit more spoiled than mine.

A couple of years ago, Wifey got all caught up in the 50th Woodstock Celebration and was gathering all things Woodstock that she could find.

She saw one of those Martin DX Woodstock guitars and told me to get her one. The local GC did have one (a bit of a surprise there), so I ended up buying it (never turn down an offer from wifey to buy a guitar).

I've got three really good Martins (include a vintage D-18, and a vintage 000-18), and was pleasantly surprised that this DX wasn't a half bad guitar.

So congrats on the score, and enjoy your new instrument.
