I agree. Fitness for survival includes many things besides physical fitness, and they all overlap.

One has to think back to Darwin's day. Who decided what species survived and what didn't? The Big Guy, amirite? Darwin said I have no need for that hypothesis, it's the being that can reproduce the most effectively and pass on genes (okay, he didn't know about genes). As they mention in that BBC video, for Bonobos, it's survival of the friendliest.
And I hate to name drop Idiocracy on TDPRI, where it probably already has an epic thread, but if stupid people have lots of kids, that's the genes that are being passed on.
