Going to a party

Teacher party. There will be no kids there and no graduates but all the teachers will do is talk about school. And drink a lot.

My wife just kinda retired.

I hope they have a lot of food because I want to eat a lot of it and I hope there is ice cream because we haven’t had it in our house for years so parties are always an excuse to eat everything that I’m not supposed to eat.

We went to one of these about a month ago. They had a big electric freezer full of every kind of ice cream treat you could think of. I think I ate one of each.

And then, when we get home, we can just sit in the backyard and not repackage leftovers or clean up anything. 👍🏽

My weekend started today and runs thru Sunday but somehow no big dos or 'cues planned here. Might hit the local diner for their special, it’s usually a good one on festive type holidays.

Sounds like some of you are doing it up proppah, good luck and be careful with the 🎆🎇.

Nothing crazy. I had grand plans, but I broke my ankle in three places.
I hope your healing goes very well.

I'm not picky about what we eat for the 4th, as long as there's some choices such as fish, shellfish, chicken, duck. Not eating the 4 legged guys, anymore - haven't since the end of 1998! Talk about Freedom from the Doctors!

The best thing about ice cream sandwiches is......

You can't get a sexually transmitted disease by enjoying these.

I’m keeping it simple this July 4—grilled chicken, veggie skewers, and maybe a small scoop of watermelon. Managing diabetes means I have to watch the carbs, but I still plan to enjoy the day. I found a way to get Mounjaro online, which eases the whole process for me. And since starting it, my cravings have been way down, so it’s easier to stay on track.

Recently did some grilled chicken marinated in ginger beer and jerk spices (onion, thyme, ginger, chili pepper, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic ). Definitely doing that again and probably some lightly burnt hot dogs.
