One of the band members that did the “Judy in disguise” song had a backyard recording studio just outside of Baton Rouge. I went in and put down a demo of one of my original songs in the mid-90’s.
I can’t remember his name, but he’s the bass player.
He said that tune was a spoof/caricature of the Beatles “Lucy in the sky”.
He let me play on his studio
Martin 000-28 for a bit.
It was a good time.
He is a good dude.
It’s about a beautiful girl with glasses. Cantaloupe eyes!
Judy is in disguise, Lucy is in the sky (with diamonds).
I always thought that "Judy" was like "Jaime has a gun" in that other song.
Suite: Judy Blue Eyes
Judy is a guy.
