Tell me JarJar's inside one of these.

    Failing that, got any carbonite?

    Happy Easter Everyone!

LOVE this thread!! Great job on the dialogue and the build.

I'd like to register my vote for Jar Jar to have an "accident", too. Maybe something involving a bench vise? :)

Your build reminded me of a bass that showed up in the Carvin catalog in the late 90's (I think..). Carvin likes for people who use their kits to build guitars and basses to send in photos of the completed projects. I found these pics on the carvinmuseum.com site.

This (of course) was called the "Rebel Bass."

Paint it like an X-wing or Snowspeeder.

    Afraid not.
They made some great sandwiches though.

Carbonite, I'm still thinking about it.

    Thanks Colt.
Now to work on my building skills.
    Thanks,
I just picked up a small vise at Lowes on my lunch break.
I've always got the workmate too.

    That bass is pretty good.
I'm actually leaning toward a classic sunburst.
Our scout ships have reached Dantooine. They found the remains of a Rebel base, but they estimate that it has been deserted for some time. They are now conducting an extensive search of the surrounding systems.
    Yavin 4 to be precise.
You would be in a bad mood too if you had to work for me.
    Awesome.

I know the Dantooine bass had been abandoned... I was just trying to distract you from your nefarious scheme to destroy the Alderaan bass.

    This is getting too weird.

"You're far too trusting... But don't worry, we'll deal with your rebel friends soon enough. You may fire when ready..."

    Yes, weird. But fun!

My beer translator really works good with Guidospeak. Who needs to carry around a mirror when you can carry around a beer. There's a 70's joke in there somewhere.......

This is definitely the most entertaining build thread I have ever seen! I wonder if he will be allocated bonus points for the entertainment?

How much do you have to pay the little dudes that do all the work?

I think it's based on a points system in relation to box office sales minus the cost of last nights broken drill bit.

Awesome work on the neck - IMO that hole in the headstock is the riskiest part of any build. I always think the downside of the whole build is when I get that out of the way on mine. So - you're on the downhill side of the build now :)
