    I should have been more specific. Some of the Joyo circuits aren't just generic copies of Tube Screamers and such. Some of their circuits aren't even modified. For instance, I believe it's the Sweet Baby that directly copies the Timmy circuit. Paul Cochrane's pedal is still in production and for a reasonable price, so there's no real justification to copy it. His circuit is patented (though I guess MXR has some rights to it), but the Chinese don't honor patents.

    I'm pretty sure you can't copyright a circuit. If that were the case, half the Screamers would violate copyright.

    I forgot, but seems that I also have the California Sound, we had moved shortly after I got it, and I still haven't dug everything up! But from what I remember it was pretty awesome. Need to go look for it!

    If you're just getting into amp modelers, the Joyo line is a great place to start!

    Joyo Sweet Baby is a copy of the Mad Professor Sweet Honey

    and yeah, you cannot copyright an electronic circuit
