    Allman's tele sounds killer. Wish he'd of played it more.

    I believe I've seen him playing something approaching chicken pickin'. Actually I've become something of a fan due to his playing and Tele collection.

    He's MUCH more traditional than he looks. The image and metal gigs provide the means to have his vintage Tele collection.

    I've only ever heard him play very fast and flashy.
    He obviously has a lot of skill and is a fan of Tele-style country picking, but I've never heard him play anything that sounded subtle or tasty.
