Great album! I used to try and emulate 'Trane's runs on guitar. That didn't last long:)

This is one of my favorite albums. I especially love "Summertime".

It's in the car CD player right now!

( my Altima came with a 6-disc changer, and spot #6 is always Jazz)

Funny after I sold all my vinyl to buy dope then cleaned up and wanted my records back,CDs were the thing but much of the Tranalog had not yet been released in CD. Nagged at Tower and they found some but not all. Ended up buying multiples on vinyl when I found them. I’ll be long dead before I wear them all out!
MFT is a good one indeed...

My wife worked evenings so I cooked dinner for my son and me. One night I put this cd on and we sat to eat. When he heard Favorite Things he knew it from the Sound of Music.
Not bad to identify the song first time he heard Coltrane.
