Here she is!!

Had Lace Dissonant Agressor pickups installed. Two new pots with push/pull action for single coil tons. Had an orange drop capacitor installed to make one tone and one volume instead of the two volumes it originally had. Put in a switchcraft 3 way toggle. Killswitch was installed and had Fender deluxe locking tuners put on.
The original pickguard cracked while installing the pickup so I got a metal pickguard to put on.

This thing screams and cleans up beautifully. The single coil tones when split sound amazing!!!

Time to play :)

Nice congrats! I think I would argue mine is more modded than yours. Actually mine is a partscaster, just the J5 body.

Beautiful!!! What did you have done to it beside the neck?

What would I need to know if I wanted to replace the neck on mine? How would I know how to fit it?

It's just the Squier J5 body with a Fender Genuine Replacement MIM neck I got open box from Musicians Friend. The neck was almost a drop in. It was just a little tight so I had to sand the neck pocket a hair to fit. All electronics are new. Pickups in that pic are SD Jazz neck and JB bridge. Currently it has a TV Jones Classic HB mount in the bridge. And I've had a Harmonic Design Z90 in the bridge as well. Control plate was a blank one GFS sells, I drilled tone and volume holes myself. The bridge is a Hipshot. The string holes were a match but I drilled new mounting holes. The pickguard came from Pickguard Heaven. He has a template specifically for the Squier J5. The stock J5 bridge is wider than a normal Tele bridge so the cutout needs to match. I had originally planned on using a J5 bridge but I ended up with the Hipshot.

Sweet!!! Awesome job! Great that you could do that all yourself! I had a tech do mine. Well worth the money!
