The lacquer isn't quite dry yet, so I'll give it another day or so. Tonight I fretted the neck and started to file down the fret ends. Pictures will be coming soon.

I got through the fret leveling and crowning tonight. I tried rounding the frets instead of beveling them with mixed results. I feel like I notice the frets more but they aren't as sharp as beveled frets.

Yeah it did take a lot longer. I saw a video of someone round the fret ends before installing them. Looks easier to round them, but you must have to be pretty precise with measuring the frets.

Pretty much all finished at this point. Sanding, polishing, nut, saddle are all completed. I would have the final video, but I broke one of the nylon strings and didn't have a replacement.

Here are some pics and potentially a video coming before the official video. This has been a great experience. I wish I had some more time to dedicate to this recently, but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out and it plays really well. Can't complain with that I suppose.

Just read the whole thread... Hats off to you, sir! Great looking guitar you've built there. Some sort of telecoustic/piezo project has been on my radar for a while now, and this may be the impetus for me to get started on it.

Love that classical head stock on a tele. Very fresh idea.
