I will forever laugh at Groucho. But his response at the 3 minute mark made me spit out my drink.
Welcome to the fam, homie . . .
That was pretty funny.
Joe's Grandpappy was a heck of a Straight Man for Groucho.
Imagine if Joe was the guest...
I read somewhere where some famous musician said that Joe was several of the most interesting people he'd ever met. Now I can see it's a family trait, along with the nose.
I've seen that before and it's hilarious.
Towards the end of the video the 'grandpa' says a couple words that sounds exactly how Joe would say it!
I'm too lazy to play it back but, it sounds exact!
Not sure if that's actually Joe's grandpa??? Are we just referring to the resemblance and mannerisms?
It's not actually Joe's grandpa, as far as I know.
I probably should have let it ride.
What scares me is that this is from 1955, which means ol' Julius Henry Marx was about the same age as I am now.
There you go letting facts get in the way of a good story
Oh man, I believed you. It was way more fun to think it actually was his Grampa! He sounds just like him.
I know that feeling! I watched a show the other night and a guy that announced his age was the same as mine and he is friggin OLD....
it is really over... I get it.
That guy had to be a shill.
Sometimes the power of the internet is scary.
“I know that feeling! I watched a show the other night and a guy that announced his age was the same as mine and he is friggin OLD....”
I watched an old episode of The Tonight Show and Johnny had Don Rickles on. They got to talking about age and Johnny said they were both 42. I would have guessed 60.
You are forgiven this time
it must have been the drinkin... My wife's aunt and my MIL drink like they are on Mad Men. I couldn't do it.
