Saw them together years ago at LuLu Whites in Boston.
Oscar Peterson was also on the bill but could not show for some reason. Was not disappointed, great show.
I never got to see/hear Ella, but I did get to see/hear Joe.
He played a solo show here on my 32nd birthday.
My sweet wife got me a ticket.
They did two albums together.
Joe is my favorite guitarist of all time (in any genre, period for me)90 and Ella is my favorite jazz singer. There is some good Joe/Ella stuff on YouTube.
As far as recordings together...
Fitzgerald and Pass appeared together on the albums Take Love Easy (1973), Easy Living (1986), Speak Love (1983) and Fitzgerald and Pass... Again (1976)
I have both albums- they are great
I got to see them live together too. Back in mid to late 1970s in Portland OR. It is not an exaggeration to call that performance a life changing event for me. Two of the greatest musicians ever and nobody else on stage to dilute that magic.

Thanks for posting.
When Ella started to sing my smile became broader than my ears...
Love their version of, "One Note Samba".
You just reminded me that I was going to play the Irving Berlin Song Book tonight!! I love that Pablo stuff hers (and of Joe Pass), everything I've ever heard.
I saw them at a free outdoor concert in the 80's. It sounded like Ella had at least a trio behind her. It was amazing
I stand corrected, the wife says it was Symphony Hall.Saw some other greats at LuLus'.
The duo albums they did were fantastic, just knocked me off my feet!
Really made me sit down and do some serious practicing~
..... really great stuff. I have a few of these recordings.
