    I like his early music very much.
    But.
    Here he explains why it's ok to always play the same 3 notes again and again.
    That's not cool.
    From a classical and jazz background this is very strange.
    I work a lot on the Robben Ford thing for example, this is much much more interesting. Music is about life, energy, beauty, creativity, invention and the like.

    Jimmie lost all that that he had with the thunderbirds.

    Edit:

    JV today is the most boring string plucker I know.
    But we still have these great thunderbirds records.
