How come Houston doesn't slide into the Gulf of Mexico?

    Because Dallas sucks so much.

The last time "America's Team" won the Super Bowl was in 1996, when Barry Switzer used Jimmy Johnson's players to beat the Steelers. Nothing since.

Jerry Jones is now in the news complaining about all the losing since. Well, maybe he shouldn't have dissed Jimmy back in '94, the guy who helped win a couple of rings. I believe Jerry Jones (age 77) will be long dead before the Cowboys win another title... and it couldn't happen to nicer guy, his losing teams, and their arrogant fans.

    Schadenfreude, gota love it.

Liked for the Texas-on-Texas hate crime! And also for the correct use of my favorite German word "schadenfreude"

I don't really care much about football except for hating Dallas

I swear, the football team from my kid's high school could've played better that the Cowgirls did against Buffalo on Thanksgiving...

Have not seen an owner so willing to display his ignorance and arrogance since Al Davis.

I've never understood all the hate for Dallas. They aren't America's team, and haven't been since I was a little kid. The Patriots are. Dallas is just Dallas. And I don't really have a problem with Jerry Jones, he seems to love football and he sure spends a lot of money on the franchise. I hope someday it goes for them, but not at the expense of the Colts.

Move to Boston. We have Brady and Belichick. They probably have a good year or two left in 'em.

th self proclaimed "Americas Team" thing turned me off. the old Raiders were america's team... bunch of miss-fits and rejects that got a second chance and generally beat the hell out of everybody physically. Al Davis stayed in charge too long though.

Jerry treated Tom Landry like crap.. I met Tom Landry once at the golf course. He's one of those guys that you can just tell right off the bat that he has the right stuff.. He seemed a genuinely nice person who was NOT all full of himself.
Jerry Jones is your typical rich *****.

Once Landry left and JJ moved in Dallas began assembling an impressive collection of ego maniacs that made me THEN hate them. Up to that point I liked them, wasn’t my team but I liked them.

The Dallas Cowboys have been very competitive for a very long time; however, after seeing them be dismantled by the Bill's and Bears, in consecutive games, one has to wonder.

Jason Garrett looked shell-shocked in both games. The talent is there, so my guess is that there's a fly in the ointment. o_O

:lol::lol::lol::lol: Bwahahahaha. That's funny right there. When they played each other a couple weeks ago, I watched part of the game (and I normally completely refuse to watch any game that the Patriots are part of) just because one of the two had to lose, and that made me happy......

    It's only football.

Take the money out of it and it's just a bunch of big guys trying to hurt each other, like back in the good old days.

Makes me no difference either way.

Jerry's problem is that he considers himself the general manager and coach ... So he hires yes men and micro-manages them ... Hasn't worked ..

As a Philly fan, and a guy who grew up in Arizona ALREADY hating the Cowboys in the '70s, I hate the Cowboys more than any team in any sport, even the Patriots, even the Yankees. But the NFC East is so piss-poor horrible this year I actually couldn't take any pleasure in them losing last night. That has NEVER happened in my 60 years on earth... I mean, the Eagles clearly don't want any part of a Division title, and Dallas doesn't either, and the Giants and Washington are both worse than diarrhea. I'd like to see someone look like they SORT OF want to win something. But at this point, it's mostly just pitiful. Somebody is gonna lose slightly fewer games than the others and have to go play a legitimate football team in the playoffs, and that's likely to be REALLY ugly. I'd almost rather it was the Cowboys... That's how bad things have gotten...
