Damn! I like Jeff Buckley, but not enough to spend that kind of cash.

    $193 shipping, hahahahahahahaha.

I think at that price they can ship it for free.

You'd think they'd add the "video documentation" in their slide of images. You can do that on Reverb.

I bought that same SD bridge pickup off ubuy with an old vintage Wilkinson bridge for $30 recently.

That guitar doesn't sound or play any better than any other average tele just because he owned/played it. That's ridiculous!

I can buy a lotta gear with that kind of jack, At least 20 maybe 30 guitars that would sound and play better than that one. Okay maybe 10 nice Tele's.

For that kind of money you would think they could double check their wording.

I don't care who that guitar belonged to, or if it was blessed by the Pope before being kissed by the Dalai Lama. That price is ridiculous. Even if you take an "upper value" of $2000 for a 1983 Tele and TRIPLE it for Jeff Buckley-ness, we're at $6000. That shop should be ashamed of themselves.

Even Paul Allen wouldn't pay that, for THAT guitar.

Yes. Haven't put it in anything yet. I'm curious too.

I think it's a little sad. Most buyers willing to spend that much will probably shelf it. But it probably has a lot of life left. And it is a proven fact that this particular '83 tele can inspire and make great music.

But then again, so does my $200 partscaster.
