I loved that whole Blow by Blow, Wired, There and Back era. There was so much instrumental music that actually got radio play back then.

Jeff Beck is unarguably, without doubt, and clearly, the greatest guitar player ever to grace God's green earth. Seriously.

My buddy and I had tickets to see Mr. Beck with Jan Hammer. It was at the Indpls In convention center 1977. We show up and there are no fans anywhere. Finally found a guard concert was cancelled for teachers convention.
We were so bummed and never got our money back.

I've been fortunate to see Jeff in a variety of band situations. Never a dull moment.
