Yep, those shows were awesome. I would have sold an organ to be there.

Vinnie is definitely one of the greats, Tal is very gifted (I think she'd only been playing for a few years when these shows happened!) and they make a world-class rhythm section, no doubt about that.

and maybe better yet.....

listen to it at least once.... they release the power of the old 60s-70s jam tunes. not polished, but clean, and power... the drive is wowzer, you wish you were there. watch it to at least the 3 minute mark

Page was one of the guys interviewed in the extras stuff they put on the DVD. he said like something... he is phenomenal, you really have to see him to believe it

The bass solo from Tal Wilkenfeld just blows my mind. I always get a big smile watching, and so does the rest of the band.

That's a great show and LP! Tal is a little taffy on bass...
Not to change the subject (I did, I'm sorry...), but has anyone seen Rhonda Smith with Jeff? I was blown away by her solo from the Live In Tokyo as well...

@dasherf17 I like the song in the video you posted. Is it new, or do you know if it’s on any of his albums?
It's a piece written by John McLaughlin appearing on Mahavishnu Orchestras debut album The Inner Mounting Flame. The album has a killer line up including Billy Cobham and Jan Hammer. It's not on any Jeff Beck album, but there's a few more live renditions out there.

...aaahhh, yes it is...Jeff Beck's Live + LP, CD...it was after Ronnie Scott's....Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie), is on vocals...he does wonderful versions of Morning Dew and A Change Is Gonna Come...
I also was blown away by the opening track, Loaded...a great show opener.
