I can tell by some of the phrasing and technical adjectives that quite a few members are from across the pond. I owned a 59 Morris Minor for several years in the 70's (the gas crisis). All I had was a shop manual to work on it and I thought I was reading a book with a whole lot of typos and misprints. Then I realized that certain words had mechanics involved like approximately how much pressure should be applied to a certain grease cup to get it off the fitting correctly. That book was my best friend for about 3 years. Now I have all that extra knowledge. I still use those principles when dealing with my instruments and the adjustments and tensions involved. This is a good forum.

I must be lucky. No issues with the trem that came with either of my JMs.

Here is mine, American Ultra Jazzmaster…I had been looking at Jazzmasters for awhile and this one checked all the boxes.

Picture is the store photo but it is of my actual guitar.

This is probably old news, but Michael Adams has just started an ongoing series of reviews of Fender Offsets on his YouTube channel. This is the first:

I've got a lot of time for his opinions and who could question his knowledge of (and enthusiasm for) offsets in general and Jazzmasters in particular.

    I like this one too:

Can I join the club please?

I have just acquired an AO 60s and I am still on a high. I was not expecting it to be this good. Plays great and oh my... this thing sounds amazing.

My only annoyance is I didn't get one years ago ;)

Welcome - that's pretty. I've had my Ocean Turquoise AO for a couple of years and still feel that high!

Congrats!! AO’60s — best production guitars Fender are making right now, IMHO. And the Jazzmaster is fantastic. Still greatly enjoying mine.

No... its actually a special run CME that I got a few years ago. Mexico, and it plays just as well as my MIA Fender Tele Nashville B bender.
    Love the color, too.
