I made my choice on the Jay turser LP copy . There was 1 at my local music store and i was just blown away how good that guitar sounded, I didn't like the color of the 1 in store so i ordered the TE color(tiger eye). It will took 2 or 3 weeks before i get it, i just can't wait. I played whit the 1 in store for about an hour, man for the price it can't be beat. When i'll have it i'll send a complete review and some pics. I did have the chance to try it in a micro terror whit 2 ppc-108(same setup at home)and i was able to get a lots of incredible tone. My local music store call me today and my Jay Turser JT-220D TE is arrived. I went to the store to tried it, first impresion is wow the guitar finish is flawless just a beatty. The guitar will stay stock i'm very impress by the sound of the pickups, the electronics work's fine and the guitar stayed in tune(i played in store for about a hour). The action has to be lowered for my taste but there was no fret buzz and no shap fret ends. In my opinion i will be able to play any style whit that guitar, it's like they say in lots of reviews Jay Turser are under rated. I will not regret my purchase, i'll have it home whit me in few days. Cocoboudin

Here's m'y first review on my Jay Turser JT-220DTE, #1 Playability, the neck is perfect a bit chunky just the way i like it. #2 the tuners are fine kind of cheap but they do there job Well. #3 the action and the intonation perfect. #4 the pots and the switch work well but the pickups are to weak and way to muddy. I'll try to work whit the height on them to see if it Will make a diference in the sound, if not i'll have to swap them. If anybody have any suggestion for vintage sound humbuckers(pairs)around $120 feel free to post. Cocoboudin

I have had great luck with DragonFire humbuckers. I have several models in different guitars. (link removed) The bridge is on the hot side, but sounds REALY nice coil tapped as they are four lead pickups. The neck can be bright, but mellows w/ a o.044+- cap. The other humbucker sets that I have tried are nice, but too hot for a vintage tone. Best of all, $50 for a set of gold four lead 'buckers. Worth a try IMHO.

I like the pickup offering from GFS.

I have their Dream 90 and a single sized rail type hb. Fantastic pups.
Those are both on my Jay Turser guitar, btw.

I bought a Jay Turser ES 335 style guitar in year 2000. I had never heard of that brand when I went to the music store to buy some strings for my Tele.. They had a big rack full of them.... many different styles.. I asked about them and the salesman told me that they were hand picked, one at a time in Korea. I saw a see-through yellow blonde one, took it off the rack and strummed a few chords.. I couldn't believe how it played.. Set up was perfect, intonation was perfect, price was so low I thought there was a mistake.. Nope..... I bought it on the spot.. I have never had to adjust one single thing since then, [14 years], and it still plays exactly as it did when bought.. I still love it and will never sell it.. Tursers Rock! Congrats.

Somewhere between here and there
I used to have a bunch of Tursers - a Gold Top, an SG copy, a black LP Custom copy which I got rid of, and a 7 string, an electric resonator, and a 335 copy that I still own. Real nice guitars for the price point.

Post pics when you get yours! And congrats!
