Took Hashi and Mochi into NYC yesterday for the Japan Day Parade, what a time they had...
Really didn't take many photos at all. There were so many people around them most of the time that we really had to keep an eye on things. Of course everyone was very polite, but also mostly ignored our cautions to not put their faces in the dog's faces. Both dogs handled it all very well.I'm going to assume you didn't pick the best from dozens more photos. Everybody loves those dogs!![]()
Yeah, kids in particular don't get it....mostly ignored our cautions to not put their faces in the dog's faces.
Not a lot of coked up folks at the Japan Day Parade, thankfully.Yeah, kids in particular don't get it.
And among people, some coked-up screwballs think it's cute. Heh, if there's a next time, maybe I'll bare my teeth and snap at their nose!
I think this was the 4th or 5th annual.Nice.
I ain't neva heard of japan day.
And i lived in the Brooklyn navy yard for a year back in 1980 while in the marines
It was a lot of fun, very relaxed atmosphere, no drunks or rowdy people. That looks like a fabulous time!
The little girl with the Eric Carle "Very Hungry Caterpillar ' themed kimono remembered Hashi from last year and was super happy to see her again. The kids will remember the dogs forever.
