Well, as a matter of fact, I am a French teacher... so I could point to errors (which BTW looks more like a typo to me), but:

1/ Tdpri is not my workplace
2/ I don’t want to seem pedantic or arrogant

But if someone asks me, I’ll gladly do it ;)

    There was a brief conflict in 1798 - 1800.

Then there was that whole Iraq thing, in which France, among others, refused to help America.

Tsk, tsk... THIS is the real deal ;) :

Courvoisier is for West Coast bling hip-hop singers :D

My dad's family is from the region of Cognac (Saintes, in the Charentes-Maritimes departement), my great-grandma' worked 2 decades in Cognac exports...

Also, try the Pineau des Charentes, a liqueur to which Cognac is added, or Fine Champagne, which is a Cognac made of special grapes found in regular Champagne wine. Really really good !

The techno music in Europe is not my favorite but I do have a taste for foi gras, escargot, baguette, and Bordeaux and Rhone red wines.

Here is a must know phrase when in France: Je voudrais un pichet de vin rouge maison et deux verres.

JI_LI.. . Yes, motoring in France can be quite delightful... I'm obviously quite at home driving in the UK and all cities here including London... But the Paris Boulevard Periphique (I really don't care if there are accents missing there) is really something else imho

PS very humbling indeed seeing all/any of the war graves across N France.

One thing we can all share together:

    Laisser le bon temps rouler!

Bonjour à tous from the French speaking part of Switzerland called Romandie!
