I do wish I could help ya.
It does seem like a super-genius type like you could recreate one just by looking at a picture of it.
Your build for the build challenge is brilliant! Definitely in the top 3 for me.

Thanks guys! Recreating from a T-shirt is not the way to go...
I have to restore a jagstang with great sentimental value for someone, unfortunately the body encountered a visit from an anglegrinder at some point in its life...
None of the repro-bodybuilders offer a jagstang (I wonder why? :)
A good picture is my last option.
Thanks Anyone glad you liked my build! IRL it sounds great too!!!

It being a lefty makes all the difference.

You would have thought that these days with CNC, CAD/CAM etc, you could just "mirror image" the required part.

What I actually know about CNC you could probably get on a small stamp:)

we need pictures of the victim..

edit: here you go.. I've scaled and traced it from the best picture I could find.. there's no view of the neck pocket in the picture so I just freehanded one taking 3" from the end of the fretboard.. it should be ok..

Here's what i do when trying to copy some old (or newer model)...might help ya...

I have one of those old projectors, you know the ones where you would place a transparent paper that can be printed on (like we use to have while in school), find the best pic on the net, print it, and then project it on on piece of white paper on the wall...to be sure i get it in the right scale, i make sure i know the width of the neck pocket i want and use that as a reference to set the projector...and voilà!!

Accurate, very easy to do with ANY model...

Hope it helps a little!! :)

I'm new to the site. And I must say thank you to all the members who did uploads. I found the one thing I was looking for and a bit of future reference. If I find something different I'll gladly post.
