    Very interested in this guitar. Don’t have any place to try one locally.

    Not that worried about sound, I’m sure that’s great. I’m extremely picky about setup. I can dial it in myself, if the neck angle is correct. How is the set on these? Is there enough break angle over the saddle to cut it down some if I need to?

    Other than that, I’d love to hear your overall thoughts on this guitar. It looks to be one of the standout performers in its price point.

    Subscribed! everything I’ve seen says these sound awesome at an incredible price point. Would love to hear how the factory setup is too.

    I’ve not played that one specifically but, I did play a walnut Gibson a few years back that I really liked. Was there a such thing as a J-15?
    Anyhow...
    I have a 2017 J-45 Standard that I bought brand new in August of that year. I finally had to get a professional setup done on it a few months ago.
    I was ready to sell it and a pro setup was my last shot at finding some love for it.
    It made a world of difference.
    My guy added;
    Bone nut, new custom cut Tusq saddle, frets dressed and leveled.

    You can find different feeling new J45 in same shop with diff setup.
    You have to try, or luck out.
    My best j45 was a used one I found. Got a new one and ran through
    various setups....it could be me...but...imho

    I am curious about their walnut, like added brightness might be nice.
