We had a brand new washer and dryer delivered yesterday. I think I'm all set!

Seriously though, I already made plans. (We did get a new washer and dryer, but that is not a present.) Carry-out and Netflix for this evening, then maybe a movie over the weekend. Exactly what Mrs. Unixfish asked for. Why she wants to spend time with me is beyond my comprehension, so I just go with it. :D

After decades together, chocolate that we don't / can't eat and $7 greeting cards are wasted money. With my work schedule being so heavy, we just spend time together.

Bragging: I got my wife some roses. She got me a little heart-shaped box of chocolates, awww. I feel like a lucky man.

My job, is to get my sweetie, by car, from Memphis to The Cabin for the 3 day weekend. If I do that part right, I don't need to give her no roses out of season.

My wife and I have been married 59 years and every time Valentines Day comes around I get "OK where's my card and flowers?" Again I say "Valentines Day is not for married couples, its for guys who'd like to marry that girl so he declares his love thru' the card and flowers."
"I did this 59 years ago, can't you remember?" But we did go out for lunch.. S

Had the day off. Got my wife a nice cashmere sweater, card and chocolates for her to wake up to. Ordered a 13 rose arrangement a few days ago for morning delivery at her work. In her culture an even number of flowers is bad luck. I always have them delivered to her work to make the other ladies jealous. We went out for a nice dinner last night and were home fairly early. I got my card at 1045pm lol. It was a good day.

We don't do gifts but we did go out to dinner to mlm our favourite Cuban place. Our 22nd Valentine's together.

A buddy stopping through town on his way home from a conference volunteered to watch my kids which made it all possible.
