Lovely. At least you're still green.
We're starting to (without a bunch of watering) "brown up".

I don’t think it broke 80 on Long Island and the humidity is low. Sunny and breezy. It’s a perfect day, uncharacteristically mild for July. Did someone turn the calendar back?

Barely made 70 here today. Looks like we won't break 75 next week. Corn is happy though. Did someone order September in July?

Hot and smoky here. Spending every morning making an ever larger fire-free zone around the house.:)

At the same time, cutting firewood for 2023.:lol:

Hope everyone's doing alright. Mild here at 7,000' per usual... started about 55F/12C, touched 83F/28C and is already on its way back down. Storms coming later and throughout the weekend and my big problem is our rain barrels are already refilled from a deluge earlier this week. Really grateful for the rain we've been getting.

Second verse, same as the first!

There are lots of great places but I'll always love mid Atlantic for days like this. Sunny, bit of a breeze, confused cicadas wondering where everyone went, burgers on the grill. Yep yep yep

Yup, we are 1000’ above the valley, so the smoke settles down during the night almost every night, but we are barely southeast downwind 30 miles of the prevailing winds of one of the largest fires in Montana right now. Air quality 10 miles away down in town has been horrendous now for a couple weeks. We work outside in the mornings and then hunker down in the afternoon.

98°F right now, but 105° down in town. Unheard of except for 2007.

Always at least a full week of 100+ here in the Summer. This is day 5 of this run and we had 4 or 5 days of it in June. Get a good 30 mph wind going with it and you don’t need to buy one of those air fryers

Had our 3rd 100° this week today. Supposed to drop in to the 80s for the weekend then start climbing again.
