Running my metal/heavy rock playlist today. Right now Axel is screaming out "It's so Easy". What are you listening to?

Not a big metal guy, but Mastadon's Leviathan never gets old -- love the opening track "Blood and Thunder"

I don't know if the noise cancelling technology makes the answer a lot or as little as possible. I've become addicted to AirPods Pro. They don't stand out like my cans type headphones, people recognize them as common AirPods and noise cancellation is really nice in a work and especially data rack environment.

These give me another little secret. The transparency mode if used is a bit like hearing aids. If I use transparency mode I hear discussions around me more than with nothing in my ears. I've caught people I lead or supervise thinking I can't hear them when reality is I hear them better than ever.

The actual playlist is/was The Knowledge Project podcast - something some of you might really enjoy.

It was Keef's "Talk Is Cheap" album this morning.

Metal? Megadeth "Cryptic Writings" is a fave to headbang to, or the Metallica Black album.

For metal I've been revisiting classic Iron Maiden lately. Some stuff from my teens (in the 1980s) hasn't aged well but Iron Maiden is still damn good.

Once I got the right ear fit with my AirPods Pro, they've been fantastic. Big improvement over the regular AirPods. While nowhere near as good as over the ear cans, the noise cancelling is surprisingly good for ear pods.

Slave to the Grind back when Skid Row (the hard rock band) had a real singer.

    Up the Irons!

Cryptic Writings is a killer Megadeath album.

I might throw Dr. Feelgood in on the way home from work.

Yes, not in same league as the top rated Sonys I got but it says more good about these that I just took them and left the conventional ones home for an international flight. They're one of those products that are tops not for across the board second to none features but more for being great at much and solving other engineering issues.

I bought extra tips as service parts and also tried the trick to line them with foam.

Blue Oyster Cult is the current artist on my alphabetical album play-through sort on my truck's MP3 flash drive. 2nd side of Some Enchanted Evening on the way to the office this morning.
