Just received delivery of the Steve Marriott biography All Too Beautiful. Not usually a big fan of celebrity biographies, but the Small Faces have been one of my favourite bands since I first got into music. Looking forward to reading this!

Love The Small Faces! Even played "Itchycoo Park" with my late 60's band. One of the best British 60's bands IMO.

great band. i could never decide if "Itchycoo Park" was part of psychedelia or just a flat-out solid pop/rock song. whatever it is, it has a place among the best 45's of the 60s.

    Hello Hello--

Love the Small Faces...great band. "Itchycoo Park" is the tip of the iceberg as far as their recorded material goes. So many great songs! Interesting to speculate on what the original version of Led Zeppelin [with Marriott, Jeff Beck. Keith Moon, etc...] would have sounded like iif history would have taken a different turn. Marriott always said he laughed when he heard Zeppelin on the radio.....!
Ian lives in town here and it's always fun to hear his band.
    Brian.

GREAT band! A couple years ago Ian came through here and tore the place down. I guess you could call them forgotten as far as the general public goes but there's no denying they were as good as it gets.
