That is pretty!!! I like it, congrats.
Thank you SteveGangi
wow someday i will have a Gretsch w/Bigsby..... congrats
Happy new guitar day. Mine is red 5129 and I just love it. My neighbor made me a custom black strap with red roses embroidered on it. These are great guitars with no modding necessary.
Really wanted the blue when I got mine about 2 years ago but could not find/wait for one. The blue is really something and very rare. Thanks for sharing the excellent pics.
yes you will
That is just sexy. Congrats.
thank you , 5129s are awesome flame red , sounds nice can you post pics with the strap too , yes they are very impressive , thanks again
thank you , she sure is , im so stoked i have finally got one , thanks again
That is WAY cool....Love the color!
I have a 5120, what's a 5127? OK, I notice the different color, what looks like Dynasonic pickups, and a different bridge. Are those the features of a 5127?
Thunderball you should already know this
thanks , theres a few of em appearing now
she is , thanks
beautiful work of art. going into covet mode now.
Thunderball is a fantastic James Bond film and I don't know what that film has to do with a 5127.
Seriously, I, taxer, do not know about the 5127. If its features are Dynas and spectacular color options, man, I got screwed when I bought my 5120. I just went to the Gretsch site and I see no 5127s. Discontinued model? I really do not know much about the 51xx series.
By the way, your avatar of a white feather is odd. You never saw the film THE FOUR FEATHERS?
The 5120 is still in production; the 512x series, which had those Dearmond pickups, is discontinued.
The pickups aren't exactly DynaSonics, but they're very nice. Bright and twangy.
Congratulations, spruce -- that is one seriously cool guitar!
Thank you, sir.
I do feel a bit cheated now with my 5120. I bought that one simply because I loved it when I played it in the stores. I usually do my research before buying anything, but damn, I didn't do it then and now I have some slight regret. That 5127 with those Dynas/DeArmonds sure seems a step up from the Gretschbusters. And the color...I love my orange, but it is pedestrian compared to what Spruce here bought.
