Sold my gear this morning except for a partscaster, amp and a couple of acoustics, took a beating, but, I couldn't take it where I am destined to go...

I did get another acoustic, more on that later (basically a Martin 414CE, don't know the Martin name for it, with sunburst finish).

Well, anyway, 4 amps and 4 guitars gone...

I am thinking about clearing out my amp collection myself. I have walled myself into a corner with too many units and need to just clean house. Unfortunately, I can only convince myself of 3 amps that I would not miss and possibly a 4th. The others I just can't convince myself to let go. I would love to cut it way down and add a really nice instrument to the mix, but it is always a tough decision to make.

I kept buying and selling guitars and amps, until I realized, all the ones I sold or traded off were the ones I should have kept, and that I probably would never actually be able to like anything again, that I had in my possession. It's the chase not the catch. Remember, if you can't see the sucker in a game at the table, you're probably him.
