and the crew re-siding the neighbor's house are dressed like it's a cool day in early October.....
That sun is a killer but I'm sweating just looking at 'em!
Low humidity tho?
21%? Oh good god. I'd trade 94 ˚F and 21% for what I have right now any day!
But the dress code there, I dunno, maybe it's part of "one step ahead of the law."
Those guys look they probably arrived here from equatorial nations. I'm guessing 94 degrees IS a cool day in October to them!
90° + can suck it, humidity or not. About 90 here today I think.
those guys know how to stay cool in the heat. I learned harvesting avocados from those dudes... the way to stay cool, and unburnt.
Skin cancer is a real and deadly thing. I know some second generation bonefish guides in the Bahamas who cover up like nobody’s business. They are of African heritage. Their fathers died from melanoma.
Block out the sun.
Sweat and drench your clothes and any breeze makes your clothes act like an old fashioned swamp cooler.
I've done that myself and it works but it's very draining on the body.
Yeah, it’ll still be 100 here when I start my exercise tonight and I’ll be doing it in long sleeves and a hat.
We had 94 with about 90% humidity last week.
Right on, old blacksmith trick too....most old time blacksmiths wore long johns (long sleeve) ..yea...they sweat, but any breeze cools them right off. Plus sweat soaked shirts dont burst into flames from embers landing on them.
Almost 7 pm. 91 with a 105 heat index.
94 and 21% humidity?? That’s a crisp fall day where I’m from.
It's not the heat ...
It's the humidity...
97.9 deg. and 98% here today. And yesterday. And the day before.... Give or take a degree and a percentage point.
The world is lucky I am wearing anything at all.
We had outside temp of 44˚C (111˚F) the other day. Hovering around 40˚C (104˚F) since.
Me (& my new germanium fuzz pedal) aren't happy...
Long loose cloths yes!
Is that “tribuilt” stuff over the tyvek?
Must be a Dakota/west thing, never seen that
Usually it’s sheathing/tyvek/siding
94 and 21% humidity? WOW~ A cold front! 99-101 and 90% here, feels like 111!
