if you notice he has a spacer between the Ebows that matches the distance between the E and G string , pure genious, I cant wait to try this out on my 5 string fretless

(I'll probably sound like the guy in the first video :lol::lol::lol:, and call all the cows in) with a fgretless you have to hit the frets right on , not behind the fret as in a normal fretted bass

Wow! That is cool! Ebows are so much fun!

And LOL. I’m sure you’ll sound fine. I went through a Jaco phase years ago and had to have a fretless j bass. Found a Squier on eBay that someone modified and it was a wonderful guitar. I came back around to guitar though and gifted the bass to a bass player friend of mine. All these years later he still has it and loves it.

Thanks for posting this. I truly suck at playing guitar and bass, but now I know I'm not the worse. Somewhat guiltily, I feel better about my own playing now.

I thought it might have been Jeff Baxter, until he started playing.

It looks like you guys have completely overlooked that fact that this is rare footage of Wilfred Brumley playing the fretless bass.

I kind of thought it was more of a farting sound than a mooing one too. Maybe wet farting.
