Not really sure what it has in common with a Tele except for the lack of a middle pickup.

This is more Tele to me then; Fender Limited HH Mahogany Tele, or Jim Root Tele .... Or Mahogany only bridge humbucker Tele .. But it's just me. ;) Or even like, dual humbucker Deluxe Tele. But it's just me. ;)

Or even Dual P90 Tele, this sounds way more like Tele to me. ;) So, sry.

Why would anyone refer to that as a T-style guitar ? It's a variant of the Suhr Modern Strat style guitar, H(s)S, and a beautiful one, I must say. Visit the Surh web site to verify.

    Again;
If this next models are Tele, I don't see reason why this one isn't.

    Deluxe Alder Dual Humbucker.
    Dual P90.
    Jim Root.
Mahogany Limited HH with Duncan Pearly Gates and Duncan 59.
    Mahogany Tele in EVH Style.

This sounds way more Tele to me then this 5 from above, sry.

I would put it somewhere in range of this one.
So if this one from picture is a Tele, then this Suhr should be also. ^^

    I care for sound-wise.
    Not shape. XD
I couldn't care any less about shape.
I was meant to say tele-inspired by sound, not shape.

No double cut guitar can be a Tele imo. Except for that Mike Bloomfield monstrosity, I'd have to reluctantly count that one as the exception to the rule!

I just like a belly cut and a forearm contour. A neck humbucker is preferred.

I would rather take that Suhr then that Fender FMT Mahogany HH Limited Tele. ;)

Btw there is no Strat with 2 pickups, sry. ;)
2 pickup guitar can't be Strat. XD
Strat with 2 pickups is not a Strat.

It's got a double cut strat shaped body, a floyd type floating trem and a humbucker bridge pickup. This is so far from a tele it's ridiculous. This guy could make a les paul sound like a tele.

Sry, but for me this bridge pickup screams Tele, same as neck + bridge. Only neck is "strange".

So I would say that this is cool T-style hybrid.
It's more T then S, in terms of sound.
