I had a birthday in August but as I now share the month with our youngest larger presents have to wait. This beauty arrived last Wednesday and I haven't stopped playing since. I love the voice of this tele, it's so unique.

Thanks guys, I'm really digging the tuxedo paint job! This is my first tele and first Squier and I'm very impressed. This morning another small parcel arrived from Axecaster and I've spent the last hour doing a bit of fettling. A mild fret dress, adjusting the pickup height and replacing the bridge with a hipshot style one.

It's not so sharp on the hand and it's a heavier item than stock. I'm loving it.

I've also got an alpha 250k pot for when I get a chance to warm up the soldering iron.

Congratz! I keep wanting to try out one of those but everytime I go to Guitar Center they are always sold out. Must be one sweet little guitar.

Thanks Aero. You won't be disappointed, they have a really different vibe when you plug in but still very much tele.

In my opinion the Cab's are the coolest guitars to be produced in a long time.
Congratulations, I bet it feels good to play it to.

Awesome! I like the bridge on that guitar. It looks like the ones Hipshots sells.

I think he said he changed out the stock one for a Hipshot copy bridge. It would be just too damn sweet if it came like that stock. :)

Yeah the bridge came from Axecaster in the UK. It's a nice solid feeling bridge and has given the guitar a hair more sustain I think. I was just looking for a regular Squier Tele until I spotted this one. They're really hitting it out of the park with these. Next time out Id really like a 51 but right now I can't put the Cabronita down.
