It’s super clean and all, but I think the pricing is a little off…

Great amp, but I'm guessing it's supposed to be $980. Or maybe the guy is just throwing it out there hoping some rich guy buys it on a whim.

$980 is probably 2x what it would have sold for 5 years ago. Nice amp though.

Full disclosure- A week or so ago this same person had two of them listed, in this condition, for $450 each. I would have bought one but I’m cash poor at the moment. Not sure what happened to the pricing on this one. Lol.

Aw man, they edited the ad. Now it says $800. That’s no fun to make fun of.

I clicked on your link a moment ago and thought the price wasn't too bad. Obviously I missed all the excitement. Out of curiosity, what was the original listing price?

A couple of my friends called on them at one point and got the $900-950 range.
Neither was actually willing to pay it though.

You can use that leftover dough to buy this:

I recently sold my fairly mint 1981 RD112 for £700, that's about $900. Not many of them over here so tend to be a bit rarer. Liked the amp, loved the size/weight but just preferred my '82 Super Champ although it's nowhere near as loud for gigs. Mine came with the original green ink Sylvania's which I still have. Have since sold the '73 SG too, been having a rather large clear out lately. Had the Tele since 1980 so it's not going anywhere!
