I like leather belts as well i wear one fairly tight i like that type of feel best, although my stomach is fairly flat or even indented which i feel happier with also.

I don't like the feeling of having my guts squeezed all the time, and feeling like a stuffed animal. I just don't use belts. I use pants that stay on my body. I'm not less of a man for not using belts, and not less trustable. I've seen a lot of macho jerks using belts.

Provided it supports Bucklerash the dwarf, I don't really care what kind of belt it is.

It'll always be too soon, good sir.

Robin Williams was a much beloved figure in our lives.
    Most of us anyway.

    Never cared for him.

Not funny (we already had a Jonathon Winters) and when trying to be serious, unable to take seriously

Was not surprised to hear how things ended. That's how he always struck me, not as an entertainer but rather as someone that ought to be under some serious psychiatric care

About the only thing cooler than that buckle would be one with atlas holding up the beer belly above it !

You're probably in denial about the girth of your waistline.

Buy a bigger belt, or let it out a notch ;).

Unless you're only 20 now, please tell me how you manage this?! I'm expanding every year, feels like I eat, drink and exercise the same but my body seems to disagree!

These are a game changer for me. I used to be constantly pulling up my pants. No more.

Two years ago I weighed around 210lbs. Then I gave up on cars and got a bicycle, sold the car. If I need to go to the store, I bike. Two years later at 65 I now weigh around 182lbs.

I just think baseball belts are comfortable. I don't wear a tie for a job, nor do I wear tan pants so belts are more utilitarian for me.

wear a belt with 1 pair of shorts for working on stuff..to keep them from falling down and clip a hammer or needed tool on. otherwise never a belt. in fact most have been chopped down for homemade cab handles.

    I don’t get ASATKat’s statement, but...
IMHO, a belt (no matter what the material) needs to be able to support sheaths, holsters, tool pouches, etc. to be useful. Maybe it’s a country boy/Texan thing?

The only exception is a “dress belt,” such as the one I wear with slacks or a suit...and even then, it’d be nice if the belt is capable of such a task as mentioned above.

I have a variety of leather belts I wear with my jeans and dress slacks alike...depending on my needs, my mood and the rest of my kit.

I am in the habit of wearing my belt sideways (with the buckle over my hip) when playing guitar or working on my car; if it’s a larger western buckle (which I wear semi-regularly as well), that’s less comfortable and I’ll generally take off my belt for those tasks.
