Hmmmm. Like the saying goes, "Differences make life, uh, interesting." And it certainly is different from what I'd normally go for.

That being said, I'm glad there are people who like that type of creative flair. If everyone's Teles looked as "plain-jane" as mine, mine wouldn't be as noticeable in a crowd. :D

Obviously someone didn't want to pay £3500 for one of these.

You guys are insensitive as all get out. It is a little known fact that a very famous piano player was a frustrated tele freak. That guitar my friends is from Ray Charles' private collection, and was personally chosen by the man himself! The administrator of his estate has kept this pretty well under wraps so far.

Once again, I will mention that the Owner of that Guitar is a long time Member here.

Is that how some of you would wish to be treated ??....HMMmmmm??

i kind of like it. I'd play it 'til my right arm started to bleed (about 3 minutes).

Just glad this wasn't another Tele-V thread.

there does seem to be a complete lack of respect for his personnal choices towards his instrument.

I hate seafoam, sunburst, bright blue, sparkly and neon coloured guitars...more so then the OPs picture he put up, but man I aint gonna go about slaggin it off.

I think it's an ugly guitar, but I wouldn't take the piss out of it.

    1. I had to expand the picture to look at the control plate - my eyes kept going out of focus.

    2. If you take that outside you are guaranteed to be struck by lightning. For several reasons.

The owner of that guitar is a member here. There's really no reason to bash the guitar. I like it, it's funky. Funky is good, a lot more interesting looking than a 52 AVRI Tele or something... wait did I just say that out loud?

Being a big fan of folk art, I think it's great. The fender logo is my favorite addition. I'd like to see pics of the whole guitar.

I think its great in a weird ugly kind of way.

    what can I say.

"Beautiful" traditional guitars bore the hell out of me. I always like seeing something different.
