I'm glad to see that even teles get some punk love. Conformity is the mother of hatred.
So do I. At least it doesn't look like you bought it GC.
I need that guitar! I have a pair of pants with the exact same decorations on them. The kids hate when I wear 'em outside.
It's a bit plain, isn't it?
Don't make me look at it again! I promise I'll be good!
All the trim isn't my kinda thing. Fill the holes, sand it and refinish it - you'll have a nice Tele.
YIKES! RUN AWAY!
I remember it as well. My mind is now trying to place it... hmmmmmm....
i'd rock it.
That's one of Jerry Hayes's guitars; here's another. He has posted pix of several more, but I expect he'll be along presently, and I don't want to spoil his fun.
You want the truth?
You can't handle the truth!
It's butt ugly as Hell!
That might be the best idea ever! I might have to mount it on my speaker cab, however. Bottle openers look tacky on sunburst finishes.
"Is this the most beautiful Tele ever?"
If Fred Sanford had played guitar, that definitely would have been his.
I wonder how much weight all the pretty stuff added.
woooooooow.....tree fitty on the bridge?... in change.... cooool...
Chef's Father: I remember when Chef was just a three-year-old little man, he came runnin' into me with a big smile and his little chef's hat on, and he says to me, "Poppa, poppa." I said, "What do you need, Chef, my boy?" He said, "I need about tree-fitty."
Chef's Mother: Tree-fitty!
Chef's Father: Well, it was about that time I begin to get suspicious. I said, "Chef, my boy, why do you need tree-fitty?" He said, "My imaginary friend Boo-Boo the dinosaur wants it." So I went to my son's room, and sure enough, there was that damn Loch Ness Monster!
Chef's Mother: Lord, it was scary!
Chef's Father: I said, "Dammit, monster, you quit bugging my children, now. We work for our money in this house - we don't just give money away!"
Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.
It looks interesting.
