Just curious if this might be the same guitar?
I hope the person he outbid watches this.
It's in way better condition than the vast majority of Custom Shop relics,
It sure sounds great!
Man that thing sounds sick!
That's the one.
I thought it sounded exceptionably well!
it is actually pretty twangy
Anybody know how much he paid?
Now I understand all of those "unboxing" videos that people watch! The anticipation was killing me. Imagine what the kid's heart was doing inside his chest.
I was curious about that myself.
Yep. He has a second video about it where he takes it apart to inspect. All of the wiring and pickups are stock. The tuners and pickguard are the only non-original parts. I'd say that he got a great deal. Plus, with the amount of views, his money from YouTube will cover the purchase.
It ended at $7,000+ USD. Maybe $7,200 and change, or something close to that.

Looks like the last price listed was $5786 EDIT: but Archetype above me says $7200ish.
According to this, a little under $6000
I also love how you can see at the edge of the worn areas the off-white that the limed mahogany finish was when it left the factory. That thing has probably seen a fair amount of smoky bars in it's life.
