As monumentally irritating as some of the garbage opinions and attitudes on this forum can be..I assure you....TGP is worse.

I have always wondered why, if someone loves & praises something, or someone, well everybody thinks that's just dandy.
But if they're honest & express their disdain for something, they are called narrow-minded, bigoted, grumpy,or in some cases, deleted.
Forums are for discussing topics, not for automatically agreeing with everyone & everything. If someone posts say, a song they've written & it sucks, then asks for opinions, I would think they would want honesty. But if you're honest, you are called narrow-minded. I don't get it.
BTW I have Asperger's. One of the many symptoms is being totally & completely brutally honest about something; right to the point of being insulting sometimes. We don't mean to be insulting, but we have strong opinions & are very vocal about them. Think Sheldon from "Big Bang Theory".

Judging by both the popularity, and longevity of this forum, I might suggest that monumentally irritating garbage opinions are mostly a matter of your opinion.

Having survived the 1960's and 70's. A gal with pink hair neither shocks or bothers me.

If it's supposed to be a shock value. They're wasting it on me.

If someone, male or female can prove to me they have a work ethic. I'll hire them.

Speaking of hair color. Where did the old gals ever get the idea that the blue hair color was appealing?

How many of us here have played a VFW or any other fraternal organization. Only to look out over the crowd and see a room full of "bluehairs"?

We all probably have grumpy moments. I just attempt to keep mine at a minimum.

    Life's too short.;)

Changing hair colors for anyone male or female takes a bit of self delusion on the part of the participant in said activity. Old men with jet black, or dark brown hair look (qualifying IMO) even more out of place and stupid than a woman whose hair looks like it could be on a cotton candy cone. Blond hair on a 60+ year old man or woman requires suspending disbelief for both the wearer, and those who look at it. By suspending belief I mean, when they look in the mirror after applying the paint job, they CAN BELIEVE they look better.

I'm 44 and old. I do not like rainbow colored hair. But I do not hate anyone. But I was born in 1975. And you should have seen us in 1990 with the overalls haging down like Rudy on the Cosby show and the 1970's holes in paints we paid for. Some said my holes were free. Mine had patches in the back of my holes. And the strings got cought on everything and tore off. Funny I know.;)

I once died my beard & moustache dark, and my GF couldn't stop laughing. She said I looked like a 70s porn star. So my hair's gonna stay gray! 20191004_121949.jpg

Do all young people assume all old people are the same?
And do all young people answer before reading what they state they assume is all those old people making assumptions?

Naaaw, I know lots of people of all ages and they are all different.

Also note that I posted that my Mother who would be over 90 now was dying her hair bright rainbow colors back in the '40s.
Kids today didn't invent pink hair!

The funny thing about young people is they are so clueless they don't even realize that everyone old used to be young just like them but they have never been old. So who has the better perspective?
