    Hey guys,

Hoping you can help me out. I've been eyeing up this telecaster and have the chance to buy it this week. however at a price of £750, I need to know if it's worth it. I'm far from a genius when it comes to identifying these things so would really appreciate the help!

    Cheers,

    Gus

Thinking it's similar to this one for the markings, color scheme etc

It’s claimed to be an CIJ but after some research I reckon if anything it’s an 1994 MIJ. Unfortunately that’s all I know about it! I’m wondering about the colour. We’re guitars made in that colour or has it been modified? Apologies for lack of info

The Japanese market supported many 'custom' colour guitars. Including in this case a 'salmon pink' Tele. Believe it or not that colour started out in the 50's on real Teles as Fiesta Red. And faded - a lot!

There was also a couple runs of MIM Teles and Strats with that sort of colour.
