Is this big enough for a humbucker?

This is the neck cavity in my 20-21 player. It seems pretty big especially on blanks I've seen with just enough space for a single coil.

Can a humbucker fit in there without routing more out?

Also out of curiosity what's the green hole thing?

Thanks!

It APPEARS to be a HB rout.
Looks like a P90 to me.

Tele neck pocket is around 2.26 inches

A soapbar P90 is around 3.23 inches wide. Putting just about half an, inch worth of pickup on each side of the neck pocket, which is what I'd guess is you see there.

I could be wrong though. It happens ALLLLL the time lol!

The general consensus about the “green hole thing” is that it’s some sort of reference for CNC machines that cut the body.
