I aim to please.
Ok. I’ll play too. No idea if he’ll ever make these again.
I once had a Fender Custom Shop Strat that I bought just after the Custom Shop came into being. Several years after I bought it, it was stolen and I’ve never been able to replace it. Now at the cost of Custom Shop Strats I don’t see me getting one due to the cost. If I ever came into some money I’d have the Custom Shop recreate that guitar.
Thanks, I'll keep my eyes open for one!
A big ol’ Gibson L5. (I’m a big Tuck Andress fan. I’m also a big Pat Metheny fan, but have always preferred rounded Venetian cutaways to the sharp Florentine cutaway.)
And in total contrast to that, a Parker Adrian Belew signature model. The original version with piezo, synth, Variax and Sustainiac. My “kitchen sink” guitar.
Those 2 particular guitars are a bit tacky for me, but some of the other models are very subdued and stripped down of all the ornamentation.
But hey I'd take any of them if it were given.
Well, I don't know, besides Robben Ford's Tele, maybe something like this:
Silvertone. Amp in case
Love those early USA Hamers, man.
What model is this?
Yea.Pretty damn expensive.Ouch!
Gibson Custom CS-336 Mahogany - TV Yellow , this thread has me looking for one..ugg...here we go again...when will it ever stop...
I saw a couple of them on Reverb last year that were pretty roached and not so pricey. I should have grabbed one while I had the chance.
I actually kinda like the beat ones better than the one in that photo, TBH.
That’s tough because getting a really nice Santa Cruz acoustic and Collings electric have me rid of others and GAS-free for years now. That’s coming up on 10 years for acoustic, and 7 years ago now I put my Collings on hold at Dave’s getting it a few weeks later. Basically I love both so much another would mean less time with the.
I guess I’d answer this with one of the slope type dreads I’ve played that were made by Santa Cruz and Collings for acoustics. At times a Gretsch interests me but once I tried a Collings 290 and that just about got me stupid with money.
Individual guitars have always struck or caught me. As much as I’m so impressed with Santa Cruz and Collings output, I’d have an open mind for any amazing guitar of the style I was after.
