There are exactly 3. (1) The black tele that was stolen out of my car in 1993. It had a pretty unique sound Hot rail humbuckers wired out of phase, slick maple neck. (2) A rickenbacker 1998PT 12 string. I just love the sound and F-hole look. I know I’d only play it 2 times a year to play Can’t Explain and Turn Turn Turn. So, probably should save the money. (3) Gibson J-45 - (I don’t have a dreadnaught at the moment only a jumbo and a parlor.) and I’ve always loved the sound of these about as much as a D-28.

Just a plain old sunburst strat with a maple neck. Wanted one since I was a teenager.

I don't know why it's so hard to buy and I couldn't tell you how many guitars I've bought in the last 30 years but not a single sunburst strat. How can such a common guitar can be so elusive?

I'm good w/ electrics and amps, but acoustics,.. a 00 w/ rosewood B&S, red spruce top is what I think I want to round out my acoustic arsenal, of course it's all dependent on the right 00 which I have yet to play.

Yes i would never buy a vintage 58/59/60 Les Paul Standard, although i would really love one. Even if i had that much money i would be just as content with one of the gorgeous Custom Shop Reissues. As vintage Fenders are much more reasonably priced i might consider one but even then i would still probably opt for a Custom Shop one. Also i don't think my playing would ever get to the standard required to justify that kind of outlay.

There is a pink '57 Strat owned by Billy Gibbons that had been stolen , found and returned . Supposedly , it was originally a gift from Jimi Hendrix . I would replace the nut and play it as Jimi would have to the best of my meager ability .

Hendrix Monterey Strat. I love the art on the guitar. Maybe someday if a nice used one runs me down.

In addition to those eighties Peavey guitars, I also still want to own one of those Fender Stratocaster Plus series with the Lace Sensor pickups.

There was something just so futuristic about those.

    OK, just a few more.
I’d really like to have a German made Hofner Verithin, natural finish, stop tail, please.
An Ibanez George Benson, MIJ, small body body, natural finish.
A blonde, mono, no Varitone, big neck, long guard Gibson ES345, too.
    OK, I’ll stop now.
